My note to those who visit . . . .
I have been photographing the wildlife at the University for nearly four years now. The University of the Sunshine coast has award me Honorary Senior Fellow for my voluntary work in recognition of the contributions to the future knowledge and protection of the natural environment of the University and in other areas across Australia.
The purpose of this site is to show the great diversity of wildlife that occupies the grounds of the University Wildlife Reserve at Sippy Downs. It will be a depository for images I shoot on a daily basis when I visit the University.
I realise that there is a great pride in the nature that abounds on the university grounds and surrounds by those attending and working at the university.
This site is about the nature I capture on digital camera, when I wonder, the university grounds. For me, it is to share those moments and maybe help some identify what they see. If you find an error please contact me through the contact menu on this site.
My pictures taken here are on an indexed image database back at my main campsite. I have photographed over 260 species of Australian Birds, 26 species of snake, 7 species of frog, numerous mammals and 100's of species of insect and spiders.
If you see an identity error please let me know ... all care is taken but I am a human and prone to error.
Any queries or comments can be directed directly to me using the contact page. I will respond to any queries asked of me at my earliest convenience - eventually.
